Miley Cyrus sports a tiny top hat as she and a gal pal lunch at Katsuya in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (May 1).

The 17-year-old actress/singer is premiering the video for her brand-new single, “Can’t Be Tamed,” on TUESDAY on E News. Miley will be chatting with Ryan Seacrest to give fans a unique insight into the creation of the video and the inspiration behind it.

The Hannah Montana star has a cameo appearance as herself in the sequel, alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon.

“I have a super, super small role but I still can’t wait to go to the premiere because it’s one of my favourite movies,” she said.
“I love the show so I was super stoked when I heard they wanted me to be a part of it. It was amazing. They are all so sweet and so fun to be around. I love them.”
Miley, who stars in new film The Last Song, particularly looked up to Sarah Jessica, who plays columnist Carrie Bradshaw.
“Sarah Jessica Parker is my style icon so it was really fun to meet her and work with her,” she added.

Miley took the stage yesterday as a big part of Make-A-Wish Foundation’s “World Wish Day” at The Grove in Los Angeles, joining Mark Ballas and Jordan Pruitt and putting on a performance for those in attendance.

In other Miley music news: she’ll release a new album on June 22 and premiere the video for “Can’t Be Tamed” on May 4. Word is, it will be quite raunchy and buzz-worthy.
